Dora Replanski is  a sociologist and a community health researcher. She holds a Masters degree in Sociology and a MSc. in Community Health Science (University of Manitoba). Since her arrival to Canada in 1990 she has been involved in the coordination of community based projects and research studies focusing in identifying and addressing the informational and service needs of immigrants and refugees. Her latest research interest focused on innovative interventions for the prevention of chronic diseases. She is a member of BC Public Health Association.
