Ishtar E. Beck

Ishtar E Beck, MA, CCC, CPF

Ishtar is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and parenting facilitator, as well as writer, educator, and community builder. She has been professionally supporting parents and families since 2009.

Ishtar’s work experience includes post partum support with the Pacific Post Partum Support Society; counselling and psychotherapy at the Alfred Adler Centre Counselling Clinic and in her private counselling practice in downtown Vancouver, Counselling Home; agency work with parents and children at Cameray Child and Family Services; and initiating, designing, and leading parenting groups at various venues, including public and private schools, throughout the Lower Mainland.

Ishtar’s speaking engagements often provide an eye-opening experience for parents. Her background in theatre and in shamanic healing ways consistently informs her work, and her eye is always peeled for the magic that happens when people get together and focus on their well-being.
