Pia Yona Massie

Pia is a multi-disciplinary artist who has worked collaboratively with Wen Wei Wang, Laurie Anderson, Sammy Chien, Liz Streb, M. Simon Levin and Mousse Paysage.

Currently an artist in residence at the Aberthau Mansion with the Sassafras Project she is interested in neuroscience, parenting and environmental justice and how these fields intersect with community engaged art.

Her work has been shown at museums, galleries, and festivals both locally and internationally. She is a mother, beekeeper and community activist in Vancouver.
