Larissa Chen BSc

I’ve been involved with Bridge for Health since 2015, in the development and production of the Bridge for Health Youth Engagement video, shown at the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) conference. I’ve completed my studies in BSc Population & Quantitative Health in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University, minoring in gerontology and health ethics. I have a keen personal interest in the study of aging, community engagement, health promotions, social entrepreneurship, and marketing & communications.

I’ve developed strategic plans for the Simon Fraser Student Society (SFSS) and Club Ilia. I occasionally assist local small business in creating editorial calendars, digital content, and monthly membership engagement plans through their digital media platforms, websites and email lists. I’ve had the privilege to hold various roles, such as President of the SFSS, VP Marketing of Health Sciences Undergraduate Student Union (HSUSU), and Founder of Böues, an all-natural personal care brand based in Surrey, BC.
