Poonam Deol

Poonam is a recent graduate from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University with a BSc degree focused in Population and Quantitative Health. Her interests lie in strengthening primary care and creating a holistic approach to overall health and well-being. She is also interested in health promotion based on the social determinants of health and strongly believes that health is multi-faceted.

Her  most recent endeavours include; Bridge 4 Health’s Create Hope Mural project and leading the VolunTEEN program at Langley Memorial Hospital. She is the proud recipient of the Fraserhealth Above and Beyond Award 2019 in the category of Service Delivery Excellence for her student-led VolunTEEN program innovation and passion for improving patient care at LMH.
